Dear Friends,

The Church at Northern Virginia (CNV) is focused on introducing people to Jesus and training mature Christians to love and serve Him forever.  We affirm the reality of the virgin birth and the atoning, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We offer people a chance to apprehend the fullness of the eternal victory that Jesus gave us at the Cross.  We constantly pray that the Lord will have free reign in every service we host.

In the Amplified Bible, Psalm 110:3 says of the LORD, “Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power.”   This speaks of a chosen people who will consecrate themselves fully to God in the last days.  We believe that this bridal company of people is now being prepared to function in what the Bible calls “the day of His power.”    If you are searching to know God or looking for a deeper relationship with Jesus and His Holy Spirit, CNV may be what you are looking for.  Please make plans to visit one of our services, conferences or special events soon.

In Jesus Name,

Pitts Evans, Pastor

OUR MISSION

  • To Preach the Word. In 2 Timothy 4:2, Paul wrote, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

  • To Live the Word. Jesus said, in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedth out of the mouth of God."

  • To Do the Word. Jesus said, in Luke 8:21, "My mother and brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it."

Since 1967 we have been a Bible-believing church that makes an honest attempt to practice what we preach. We want to deepen your relationship with God, as well as with spiritual brothers and sisters, through a vision that includes:
  • inspiring praise and worship,

  • dynamic messages from the Bible,

  • home group meetings,

  • informal times of hospitality for groups of all ages,

  • a church-planting ministry in the U.S., and

  • a worldwide outreach through overseas missions.
